Each semester, my 2D Art students create cards for patients at Nationwide Children's Hospital. The students amaze me because in the last few days before summer break, instead of goofing off, they put on their thinking caps and create some really awesome and thoughtful stuff. They get so creative, funny, and super sentimental. Ava made a little fortune teller! Directions included! Shakeel illustrated some of his favorite puns to brighten someone's day. The student below created a princess pop-up and included a maze to make someone really happy! Check out some other beautiful and heartfelt creations! Veronica made a fairy princess and wand! They didn't forget about the sports fans! For them, Caleb made some sports activity books! And Elijah created a pop-up with his own characters exclaiming, "You are Awesome"! Another student bought a puzzle to go with her sweet card. How precious is this? Emma created her very own "Smile Jar". Read below to find out more. P.S. the little note she's holding says, "Dream Big, little girl". Reegyn created a Finding Nemo themed activity card, including a coloring picture, a word search, a word jumble, and a maze! Jonathan's activity book was Disney Princess themed and included pages and pages of fun for any princess fan. These kiddos make my heart melt :) Goodbye, 1st period! Farewell, 4th! See ya, 6th! So long, 7th! Thank you for a wonderful semester!
