We also had students get a taste of life as a curator! Throughout each day that week, family and friends were invited into our school to see the show. Our "student curators" would take our guests on a tour, explaining the process of each project and answering questions along the way My mom even came to check it out! Thanks Mrs. Roholt! We also had the Davidson High School Art Department come over and judge the show! We originally wanted them to pick a first, second, and third place for both 2D and 3D, but they said they couldn't do that. They said it would be too hard to pick only six pieces of all the great work they saw! Instead, they picked a piece to be awarded "Best in Show" for each display (for example, one in Animal Printmaking, one in Expressive Mixed Media, etc.). Here are the winners! Congrats to all of our winners and an extra special congratulations to Alex, who won "Overall Best in Show" for all 2D and Advanced 2D.
